WILMA BENES ROSE, age 98, made her transition, Sunday evening, March 22, 2009 at her home in Pepper Pike, Ohio. Wilma was the daughter of the late James and Mary Benes. She was also preceded in passing by her husband of 59 years Paul, and her brothers Otto and Charles. Furthermore, Wilma and her husband were founders of the Ohio Irish Setter Dog Club. Their prize dog, Feathers, brought home many ribbons and trophies. She and Paul were also members of long standing of the Shaker Country Club. During their younger years Wilma and Paul were avid world travelers; with their journeys taking them to numerous farflung destinations. Wilma enjoyed an active and very successful career as a real estate broker, specializing in commercial property. Moreover, she was chief executive of her own firm. Surviving her are a nephew, Charles Benes; three nieces, Priscilla Arnold, Caree Crisco and Trixye Case; three great-great nieces, Meagan, Brittany and Caitlynn Case; and one great-great nephew, Zachary Case. A private celebration of her life, was officiated by the Rev. Charles Benes on Friday, March 27, 2009 at Knollwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
