William "Big Bill" Henning

WILLIAM "Big Bill" HENNING, age 75, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 surrounded by family.  Beloved husband of Gail Henning (nee Tuscany) for 52 years.  Loving father of Bill Henning (Janelle).  Hero grandpa to Abby and Billy Henning.  Adored dog grandparent to Pepper.  Dear oldest brother of Bob (Dolly), Jim (Jeanne), and Rich (Billie).  Dearest uncle of Adam, Alyssa, Sandy, and Debra, and great uncle of Ellie, Lou Lou, and Gwen.  Preceded in death by his beloved parents Rudy and Anne.

Bill served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Alaska and the Philippines.  He was a lifelong resident of Broadview Heights and graduated from BBHHS.  He loved spending time with family and enjoyed nature, sunshine, golf, and travel. He was able to find a way to fix anything around the house even before the internet.  He was a longtime member of Ridgewood Golf Course Men's Association in Parma.  He enjoyed driving his three Porsche sports cars that he owned throughout his lifetime. Bill was also one of the longest surviving liver transplant patients.

Family and friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 12-2:30 p.m. followed by a sharing of memories at 2:30 p.m.
