Wayne George Kaminski

Wayne G. Kaminski, age 75 of Richfield, Ohio passed away peacefully Christmas day. Beloved husband of Debi for 49 years; loving father of Kimberly Petruccio and Corie Kaminski; dearest grandfather of Brandyn, Lani and Logan; dear brother of Judy Charron (Dick), identical twin Warren, and Ward Kaminski (Dottie)

Wayne was born on September 10th, 1947, to the late Chester and Irene Kaminski. He grew up in Cleveland and had fond memories of living in Florida with his family. After graduating from Nordonia high school, Wayne enlisted in the Navy. He was an aircraft mechanic, specializing in systems and specific aircraft. He was honorably discharged and given many medals and awards for service. 

Wayne was a private and quiet man but undoubtably a friend to all, lending a hand whenever needed. He was so supportive and proud of his family and their accomplishments. A creative man, he could be found fixing things, problem solving, or riding around in his Jaguar. He was a real do it yourselfer and a professional napper. He was outfitted with special gear for every occasion and task. Wayne loved to watch movies and cheer on his beloved Browns. He was a lover of travel and learning. 

There will be a celebration of life gathering (including an ice cream social) on Sunday, January 8th 1:00-4:00PM at Amvets Post 176, 3944 Wheatley Rd. Richfield. Please come share stories and celebrate him while enjoying one of his favorite treats.
