VINCENT C. DELGADO, age 95, passed away August 21, 2025. Beloved husband of Cheryl Delgado for 56 years. Loving father of Michael (Orella), Kenneth John (Tammy Lynn), Victoria Tomasheski (Michael), and Christopher (Marinel Rivera). Dear grandfather of Zachary (Veronica), Noah (Faye), Luke (Gabrielle), Tyler Tomasheski (Hannah), Gabriella Tomasheski, Carter, Caleigh, and Cassie. Great grandfather of Delilah, Maximilian, Roland, Luna, Simone, Ramona, Rocco, and Roma. Faithful companion to Annie. Brother of Gloria Brinkman, Richard Delgado, and the late Nicholas Delgado, Sarah Miklovic, Josephine Moss, Hope Jackubowski, and Peter Delgado.
Vincent served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War as an arial photographer. He served in law enforcement as a Garfield Heights police officer and detective, and as a Special Deputy with the United States Marshall Service. He was interested and involved with archeological excavations of Native American sites in northwestern Ohio. He was also involved with the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad as a trainman and volunteered for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park as a trailblazer.
Family and Friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE ROAD, BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a closing prayer at 8 p.m. Vincent's Funeral Service will be held at the FUNERAL HOME, Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Brecksville Cemetery.
