Tim W. Bene, age 95, longtime Richfield resident passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Dorothy for 67 years; loving father of Debbie Luther (Ron), Mike Bene (Peggy), Susie Cannell (Chris) and Rick Bene (Julie); dearest grandfather of Julie Rose (Josh), Laurel (Chris), Emily (Mark), Hannah (Adam), Jessica (Brett), Ryan (Ashton), Clayton (Valentina), and Melissa; great grandfather of Jack, Bennett, Owen, and Addison. Tim had a brilliant mind, was a follower of Jesus and enjoyed nature, horseshoes, gardening, water color painting, was the Mr. Fix-it for his family and he will be missed dearly by all who loved his corny jokes and sweet smile. Tim proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII, member of the Richfield Amvets, Cleveland Pipefitters Local #120 and Seven Hills Bowling League. Family and friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 3-5 pm where a message will begin at 5 pm. Private family burial at West Richfield Cemetery.
