Thomas "Tom" Zaun

Thomas "Tom" Zaun, 35 passed away suddenly Friday, April 26, 2024. Beloved son of Mary and the late Kenneth Zaun; loving partner of Blake Johnston; dearest brother of Steve Zaun (Malory) and Kimberly Koelble (Storm); treasured uncle of Brody, Gabe, Ben, Mac and Malcolm; loving cousin, nephew and friend to everyone he knew.

Throughout his life, Tom found joy in the simplicity of bonding over sports, particularly Cleveland teams, and creating memorable moments with loved ones. He possessed a charming sense of humor that could light up any room and had a knack for making everyone around him smile. Whether it was celebrating special occasions or indulging in his favorite hobbies like running, gaming, and watching reality television shows, Tom embraced life with enthusiasm and a zest for living.

Tom, a devoted Branch Manager for Eagle Loan, was known for his dedication and passion in his work. His caring nature extended beyond the workplace as he was a pillar of support and love for his family and friends. 

No matter how long anyone knew Tom, everyone was impacted by his kindness and generosity. Tom is loved by all and will be missed greatly. 

The family will receive friends at Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home, 8150 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 3-8 pm.

A Celebration of Tom's life will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 at The Masonic Hall, 4586 Streetsboro Rd., Richfield, OH 44286 from 2:30-6:30pm. We would like to honor Tom and remember the joy he brought us all. This event is BYOB; please bring a snack or appetizer to share, as well as memories, stories and/or anecdotes of Tom. Water and soft drinks will be provided.
