Thomas W. Wrabel

THOMAS W. WRABEL, age 89.  Beloved husband of Trudy for 67 years.  Loving father of Jeanne Amano (Chris), Maryann (deceased), Thomas (Caroline), Carol, and John (Theresa). Cherished grandfather of Megan (Luke), Mia, Kaz, Allison, Katrina, John (Brittany), Sydney, Paige, and Thomas. Dear brother of Betty Sefsic (deceased). Devoted son of the late Mary and Henry.

Thomas served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps from 1956 to 1957 after graduating cum laude from St. Francis in 1956 with a bachelor's degree in Social Studies and English.  He earned a master's degree in education from Kent State University in 1960, an education specialist degree from Kent in 1984 and a doctorate in education from International Graduate School in 1985.  He retired after 35 years with the Garfield School District.  He enjoyed teaching, coaching basketball, and traveling with his wife.

Thomas' Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Regina Health Center, 5232 Broadview Road, Richfield, OH 44286, on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., where family and friends will be received beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Private family interment will be held at Brecksville Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association Cleveland Area Chapter, 23215 Commerce Park Rd. STE 300, Beachwood, OH 44122, in Thomas' memory would be appreciated.
