Thomas M. English

Thomas (Tom) English, age 70 of Brecksville, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Meg O'Donnell English; loving father of Will (Diane); dearest grandfather of Owen, Emmett, Isaac, and Xavier; loving son of the late William and Noreen English; dear brother of Patricia (deceased), Kathleen Dietrich (Paul), and William "Skip" (deceased) (Carol); uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend to many. 

Tom grew up in Christ the King Parish where he developed and maintained life long friendships. He graduated from Cathedral Latin High School in 1973. Tom was an active parishioner of St. Basil the Great in Brecksville for more than 40 years. He enjoyed volunteering his time to support a number of groups, including ASPC and hunger centers. Most recently, Tom enjoyed being an active grandfather to his four grandkids and especially enjoyed watching their activities and was a constant figure at their events.

Friends will be received at Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home, 8150 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 5-8 pm. Tom's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 10:00 am (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
