THERESA SKUZA (nee Kaliszewski), age 85, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026. Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Raymond Skuza. Loving mother of Brian Skuza (Diane), Gregory Skuza (deceased) (Diane), and Gail Thakur (SP). Cherished grandmother of Cameron, Kerry, Taylor, and Jake. Dear sister of the late Richard Kaliszewski and Connie Angiocchi. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Devoted friend to many who became her extended family, especially Eric Strong and the Long Family.
Theresa was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose warmth touched everyone who knew her. Family was always at the center of her life, and she took the greatest joy in spending time with the people she loved most. As a proud grandmother, she created countless memories filled with laughter and unconditional love.
She had a creative spirit and a passion for crafting. One of her greatest joys was sharing that passion with her sister. Together they spent many happy hours preparing for and attending craft shows, proudly selling their handmade creations.
An avid animal lover, she had a special place in her heart for every creature she encountered. Her kindness and gentle nature extended to animals just as much as it did to people.
She also carried a lifelong love for all things Disney. She found joy and magic in its characters and sharing magical trips with her children and grandchildren. Disney always brought a smile to her face.
Known affectionately as the "Bingo Queen," she rarely missed a chance to play and was famous for her enthusiasm, sharp eye, and the laughter she brought to every game.
She will be remembered for her loving heart, creative hands, playful spirit, and the deep devotion she showed to her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the memories she created and the love she shared so freely.
Family and friends will be received at Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home, 8150 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 9-10 a.m. followed by Theresa's funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment Mapleshade Cemetery.
