Nancy L. (Cantlon) Hakola

Nancy L. Hakola (nee Cantlon), age 77 born September 8, 1943. Passed away peacefully on February 22, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Robert "Bob" Hakola for 54 years. Devoted mother of Gayleen Spencer (Chris), Tricia Oswald (Greg) and Tanneil Patterson. Cherished grandmother of Sydney, Adam and Matthew Oswald and Paige, Blake and Avery Patterson. Dear sister of Tom Cantlon (deceased), Donna Barr (Kendall) and Jim Cantlon.  Loving aunt of many. She was a loving and caring mother, wife, sister and friend to all. She especially loved her grandchildren and her grand "dog", Quinn, who were her everything! She had a love for trying new recipes, dinners and desserts for her family and friends. Holidays were important and special occasions full of traditions and fun!

Family and friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Nancy's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Basil the Great Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).  Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery will be held at a later date.  Face masks are required for all services and social distance protocols will be followed.
