MIKE KUTSCHER, passed away June 12, 2026. Beloved husband of Diana Kutscher for 43 years. Loving father of Deanna, Debra (Kevin), Mikey, Mitchell (Crystal), Deidre (Desmen), Darlena, Mathew, and Mark. Devoted grandfather of Ryan, Kevin Jr., Kyle, Ruthie, Gabriel, Kylah, Isaac, Kylie, Damen, Emmett, Leilani, and Naomi, and great grandfather of many. Dear brother of Bill, Brenda, Jeff, Lee, David, and Gary. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Corda and William Kutscher.

Mike was a man who had a rare gift for seeing value where others saw none. He spent his life turning "trash into treasure," not just in the things he repaired or repurposed, but in the people he lifted up along the way. Whether it was something salvaged, restored, or simply given a second chance, Mike had a way of making it meaningful again-much like he did with lives around him.

He loved fishing and found peace in the quiet rhythm of the water, especially in the simple, steady moments shared "on the rock." Those times were more than just hobbies; they were where memories were made, stories were shared, and life slowed down enough to be truly appreciated.

Above all else, Mike lived for his family-his children and grandchildren were the center of his world. He showed up, stayed present, and built a legacy not through words alone, but through steady love, humor, and unwavering commitment. His family was his greatest pride and joy.

Mike was also deeply committed to recovery communities. As an AA sponsor and a supporter in Celebrate Recovery, he poured himself into helping others find freedom and healing. Countless people can trace part of their journey back to Mike's encouragement, honesty, and willingness to walk beside them through the hardest seasons of life.

His testimony through Jesus Christ was not just spoken-it was lived. Mike's faith was simple and powerful: love God and love people. That was the foundation of everything he did. He carried that belief into every conversation, every act of service, and every moment of compassion.

To many, Mike wasn't just a friend or sponsor-he was a "hope dealer." He had a way of reminding people that change was possible, that grace was real, and that no one was beyond restoration. His life pointed people toward light, even in their darkest moments.

Mike leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, recovery, laughter, and restored lives. Though he will be deeply missed, the impact of his life continues in every person he encouraged, every family he strengthened, and every heart he helped turn back toward hope and God.

His life's message remains clear: Love God, Love People.

Family and friends will be received at Brecksville Church of God of Prophecy, 8131 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141 on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. followed by Mike's funeral service at 12 p.m.
