Michael Nordhauss

MICHAEL NORDHAUSS, 68 passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, after a long illness.  He was born on September 16, 1955 in Solingen, Germany.  Michael leaves behind his devoted wife of 49 years, Eveline Nordhauss, his son, Christian Nordhauss and daughter-in-law, Sandra Nordhauss along with his three beloved grandchildren, Colin, Cameron and Charis Nordhauss.  Michael and Eveline ventured from Germany in the early 1990’s, risking their life’s savings to pursue the American dream.  Together with their son, they built MB Kit, a distributor and fabricator of aluminum industrial products.   Through the family’s hard work and dedication, the company enjoyed success for over twenty-five years until it was sold in 2019 allowing Michael and Eveline to enjoy retirement at their home in Richfield.   Throughout his retirement, Michael pursued his passion for gourmet cooking and welcomed friends to many wonderful meals, including his specialty, Paella.  The family will celebrate Michael’s life privately.  Friends may donate in Michael’s name, if desired, to the American Heart Association.
