Michael G. Mikolaj

MICHAEL G. MIKOLAJ, age 91, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023.  Beloved husband of the late Mary Louise Mikolaj (nee Oliveros).  Loving father of Monica Workman, Patrice Stachowicz (Ray), and Mary Kalasa.  Cherished "Pops" of Tayler Hasselbusch (Derek), Torey Axelrod (Ben), and Benjamin Workman.  Devoted great grandfather of Decker Hasselbusch, Tenley Hasselbusch, Sonny Michael Axelrod, and Brooklyn Axelrod.  Dear brother, uncle, and cousin of many.

Michael was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War.  He worked as an accountant his entire career.  He was a Cleveland Metro Parks volunteer for over 25 years where he was part of the bike patrol.  He was an active member of St. Basil Church.  Michael was also involved in the Brecksville Golf League for over 30 years.

Family and Friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 4-6 p.m.  Mike's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 4441 on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 10 a.m. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
