Mary F. Savioli

MARY F. SAVIOLI (nee Chiabai), age 94, passed away unexpectedly on her beloved late husband Pietro's Birthday, Friday, February 14, 2025. Mary was born to the late Valentino and Regina (Vogrig) Chiabai in McIntyre, Pennsylvania. Helping her father raise their family after her mother unexpectedly passed away, Mary became family-focused at a young age that she maintained throughout her entire life. Loving mother of Michael Savioli and Cindy Dolansky (Bob), cherished Noni of Emily Savioli, Regina Baker (Charlie), Carmela Savioli (deceased), Kelly Schenk (Chris), Pete Savioli (Victoria), Kara Dolansky-Lindsey (Jon); and adored by many great-grandchildren. Mary was always helping and caring for others, including helping run her husband's business for many decades. She loved being around the dinner table providing a home cooked meal for her family and friends. Known, especially around the holidays, for her thousands of hand-made "famous" pizzelle Italian cookies. Mary is now reunited with Pietro and her siblings: Ida Onderak, Ines Peroli, Valentino Chiabai, Nina Robich and their spouses.

Family and Friends will be received at Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home, 8150 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 4-8 p.m.  A Prayer Service will be held at the FUNERAL HOME, Friday, February 21, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mary's Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael Catholic Church, 6912 Chestnut Rd., Independence, OH 44131 at 11 a.m.  Interment will follow at Maple Shade Cemetery.
