Lois Anne (Chambers) Burlingham

Lois Anne Burlingham (nee Chambers) age 90 of Brecksville, OH passed away peacefully Monday, May 27, 2024.

Lois will be dearly missed by her surviving family, son, Donald Burlingham (Cynthia) of Stafford, VA; son, William Burlingham (Elsie) of Mason, OH; daughter, Rebecca Riser (Ted) of Bath, OH; grandchildren, Megan Beling (Curt), Laura Hamm (Jay), Eva Driver (Rob), Tyler Burlingham (Jerra), Ethan Burlingham (Lynley); great grandchildren, Clark Beling, Cate Beling, Lena Hamm, and Jack Hamm; sisters, Marguerite Hood and Patricia Black; dear extended family members  Andrea Loverde (Mick), Ben Martinez, and Melissa Riser; and many loved nieces or nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years Frank D. Burlingham; son, Bradley Burlingham; her parents, John and Eva Chambers; sisters, Mary Huff and Roselyn Watson; brothers, Bernard Chambers, Robert Chambers, and William Chambers.

She was born May 2, 1934 in Niles, Ohio, where she grew up and graduated in 1952 from Niles McKinley High School, and in 1955 from St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing. She worked for many years as a registered nurse in a variety of settings and was devoted to raising her four children. She enjoyed her pastimes of swimming, painting, knitting and caring for her beloved dog, Coco.

Friends will be received at Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home, 8150 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 11 am until 1:00 pm. Lois' Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 pm.
