KENNETH "Ken" RAY MIDDAUGH, age 62, passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 18, 2023. Beloved husband of Pam Daiker-Middaugh. Devoted father of Danny Middaugh and Becca Middaugh. Cherished son of Robert (deceased) and Barbara (nee Heacox) Middaugh. Dear brother of Robert (Lisa), Timothy (Cindi, deceased), and Brian (Evonne). Dearest uncle of many. Son-in-law of Don and Vicky Daiker. Brother-in-law of Steve (Diane), Paul (Liz), and Matt (Kristi). He is also survived by his trusted labradoodle companion, Rex.
Ken was born in Canton, Ohio. He graduated from East Canton High School where he excelled at football and basketball. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He received his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve. He was a CPA and held a Series 66 license. He worked as a financial advisor at a number of banks, including Huntington National Bank.
Ken and Pam met in 1987, dated for 5 years and were married in 1992, having been together for 36 years. They have two children, Danny, 20, and Becca, 16.
Ken loved Cleveland Sports - the Cavs, Guardians, and the Browns. LeBron James and the Cavs winning the NBA Championship was a happy time for Ken. Ken had a passion for live music and attended over 200 live rock concerts through the years. He loved to work around the house, gardening, traveling, reading mysteries, watching World War II documentaries on the History Channel, but mostly it was his devotion to his family that will be remembered.
Family and Friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. followed by Ken's Mass of Christian Burial at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will be held at a later date.
