Kelly Jean Liskay

Kelly Jean Liskay, (nee Brakeman) age 50. Passed away December 13, 2019 peacefully at Holy Family Hospice in Parma. Beloved wife of Charles for 26 years; Adored mother of Julie Ann; Daughter of Brian Brakeman (Cheryl) and Judith Lewandowski (deceased); Sister of Sean (Jen), Scott (Holli), Rebecca (Ross) and step-sister of Jackie (Matt); Daughter-in-law to Gene and Joanne (deceased) Rorak.; Sister-in-law to Michael (Alice), David (Gerri), David (Pam), Tim (John), Tina (Nancy), and Mary Beth.

Special thanks to sisters-in-law Alice and Mary Beth, Aunts Naomi, Penny and Teo, Cousin Christine, long-time friend Becky and the staff at Holy Family Hospice. Never did a braver soul exist. She fought brain cancer for 24 years and four major surgeries with inspiring courage and without complaint. Kelly defined herself not by her illness but by the love of family, friends and her passionate enjoyment of literature.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Kelly's life will be held at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OHIO 44141 on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 2-6 pm with closing words beginning at 5:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kelly's name are suggested to Holy Family Hospice, 6707 State Road, Parma, Ohio 44134.
