Obituary
KATHERINE ROSE KOLAKOWSKI, passed away on September 13, 2022 peacefully in her sleep. She was 8 days away from celebrating her 82nd birthday.
Kathy, Butchy, Sister Mary Katherine, Doughnut Kathy, as she was affectionately known by family, friends and co-workers. Led a productive life in the food service industry and was a member of the UFCW (retired 1997). Member of faith at St. Basil the Great, Volunteer member for the City of Brecksville senior center where she enjoyed making lunch salads and won several awards for her interpretation as Sister Mary Katherine.
Mom never remarried after the death of her husband Roger, who predeceased her by 29 years. Mother to Darin and Sherri. Mother-in-law to Gary and Sherie. Grandmother to Jordan, Ayrron, Allie, Sean, Christian and Brett. Great Grandmother to Lyrik, Riaan, Maia and Aaria. Sister, Sister-in-law, Aunt and Great-Aunt to many. Mom you are forever in our hearts, just as we are forever with you in peace.
Katherine's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Basil the Great Catholic Chuch, 8700 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
