Katherine Brusk

Katherine "Kathie" Haupt Schneider Brusk, age 81.  Beloved wife of Donald Brusk.  Mother of Paul Allen Schneider, Scott Schneider (Jennifer), and Heather Hollerbach (Mark).  Grandmother "Oma" of Payton (fiance Alexander Brown) and Hudson Schneider, Hailey and Sierra Hollerbach.  Daughter of the late Rudolph and Selma Haupt. Sister of the late Daniel Haupt (Carol, surviving).  Kathie was a dear aunt to several nieces and nephews.  She was also a caring and loving parent, grand and great grandparent to the Brusk families.

Kathie was an active member of Order of the Eastern Star, Ann Ruthledge Chapter #453 and a lifelong member and officer of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority. She was also active with the Emerald Necklace Garden Club, the Brecksville Kiwanis, and her church.

Family and friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE ROAD, BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. and at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 9201 Brecksvillle Road, Brecksville, OH 44141 on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 10-11 a.m. followed by Kathie's funeral service at 11 a.m.

A special thank you is extended to the many friends and family members who brought over meals and flowers, came for a visit, sent cards, and sent their thoughts and prayers.  She knew she was well loved by all.  The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Cleveland Clinic Hospice and Home Instead who lovingly helped Kathie at the end of her illness.
