Karen Lee Bratz

KAREN LEE BRATZ (nee Walbolt), age 70, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Wayne D. Bratz.  Loving mother of David Damalas (Kristie), Melissa Caudill, Kimberly Govelovich (Mike Carlozzi), Kelly Damalas (Nick Lucas), Michael Bratz (Christine), Douglas Bratz, and Sharon Mallernee (Greg).  Dear grandmother of Dylan, Madison, Conner, Ava, Alexis, Scott, Amanda (Joe), Ashley, Jessica, Emily, and Matthew, and great grandmother of Olivia, Vince, Josiah, and Isaiah. Dearest sister of Cyndy Wroe (John), Steven Walbolt (deceased), and Thomas Walbolt (Kathy). Loving aunt of many.  Dear friend of Jan Molodec and Candy Holmes.

Karen was a true matriarch, devoted to her family, friends and co-workers.  She was a giving person, who always made time to lend an ear or help anyone in need.  Karen's friends and co-workers were truly an extended family to her.  She loved feeding all of nature's creatures in her backyard, tending to flowers in her yard as well as the yards of her family.  Sometimes she could be a little OCD, but it was always with good intentions and love.  Karen treasured time spent with family and was involved with everything surrounding her grandchildren.

Family and Friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:00-8:00 p.m., where Karen's Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
