Joy (Ayers) Mercurio

JOY MERCURIO (nee Ayers). Passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Beloved wife of Richard J. Mercurio for 66 years. Loving mother of Brett (Kelly), Brad (Lisa) and the late R. Guy. Cherished grandmother of Brett II, Zakary, Eryn Joy, and Alyssa. Devoted great grandmother of Aria Joy.

Joy served as head of the PTA while raising her children and was a lifetime member. She worked the voting polls in Northfield. Joy was also an assistant manager at K-Mart in Macedonia for almost 20 years.

Family and Friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Thursday, August 27, 2020, from 10-11 am followed by Joy's Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Interment Northfield Macedonia Cemetery.
