Joseph "Joe" R. Pace

Joseph "Joe" Pace, age 90, of Seven Hills, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

Joe was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on February 26, 1936, to the late Giuseppe and Rose Pace. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gilda Pace (née Sferrella), and was the devoted father of Maria Pace Smith (Kevin) and Paul Joseph Pace (Teresa). He was a proud and loving grandfather to Miranda, JP, and Sofia Pace, and TJ and Maggie Smith.

Joe graduated from East Technical High School in 1954 and, through hard work and determination, put himself through Case Institute of Technology, where he earned a degree in Engineering in 1958. He later proudly served in the United States Army as a Private First Class.

Joe spent many years working as an electrical engineer, including roles with Exide, Kirkwood Industries and Atlantic Tool and Die. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Joe will be remembered for his strong work ethic, intelligence, devotion to his family, deep faith, and pride in his Italian heritage.

He was active with the veteran's community and the Parma American Legion and also volunteered with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Joe valued service, discipline, family, faith, and education throughout his life.

Family and friends will be received at Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home, 8150 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 4-7 pm. A Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 9:30 am followed by Joe's Mass of Christian Burial at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH at 10 am. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
