Joseph R. Petsche, age 91 of Brecksville, OH passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Cathryn (nee Staresina) for 56 years; loving father of Daniel, Jane Fry (Jim), and David (Marilyn); dearest grandfather of Patrick Fry (Tracy Carter) and Caitlin Mills (Daniel); great grandfather of Baker Joseph Mills; step grandfather of Matthew (Chanel) and Derek (Melissa) Bode; step great grandfather of Joshua and Hailey Bode; loving son of the late Joseph and Helen Petsche; dear brother of the late Rosemary Soeder; brother-in-law of the late Charles Staresina and Carol Hendrix; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home, 8150 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 on Sunday, July 12, 2026 from 3-5 pm. Joseph's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd. Brecksville, OH on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 10 am (Please meet at church). Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
