JOHN "Jack" STULAK, JR., age 83, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Louise Stulak (nee Costanzo) for 57 years. Devoted father of John III (Jodi), Gary (Shari), Brian (Adrean), and Jaimie. Loving "Papa" of Sage (Justin), Kyle, Veronica (Steve), Jimmy, Lacey, Michael, Jackson, Samantha, Aiden, Gaven, and Myles. Great "Papa" of Harbour, Alex and Luca. Dear brother of the late Sara, Velma, and Lillian. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Jack graduated from Holy Name High school where he excelled on the basketball court as the captain and leading scorer. He also excelled in the band playing the trumpet. He earned a basketball scholarship to Kent State University where he completed his undergraduate degree. He served as a Second Lieutenant in the Army and was stationed in France. Jack went on to earn his MBA from Case Western. He also played the trumpet in The Ray Budzilek Orchestra and The Clevelanders Polka Bands, recording his first of 20 albums at age 16. Jack enjoyed playing golf, Friday lunches with his high school friends, and time spent with family and friends.
Family and Friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held at the FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. followed by Jack's Mass of Christian Burial at St. Basil Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
