James Beattie

JAMES BRYAN BEATTIE, age 64, born July 11, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away November 20, 2025 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the dear brother of William "Bill" Scott Beattie; uncle of Erin Nicole Beattie and Edward Robert Beattie; brother-in-law of Sarah-Day Beattie; step-uncle of Katrina Rose Snipas; and brother-in-law of Bridget Beattie. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Sheila Rose Beattie and Robert K. Beattie. He is also survived by his cousins, Lisa Uhl, Jennifer Uhl, Melanie Uhl, and Lori Wheeler.

Jim graduated from Brecksville High School in 1979. Following graduation, he was hired at his uncle's company, Tempcraft, as a maintenance man. His uncle eventually sold the company to Howmet, yet Jim remained and spent the next 40 years of his life working there. No one worked harder or had a better work ethic than Jim. When he wasn't working for his company, he was doing electrical side jobs for friends and acquaintances.

Family and friends are invited to Whitehaven Memorial Park, 615 SOM Center Road, Mayfield Village, OH 44143 on Thursday, July 2, 2026 where Jim's ashes will be laid to rest. Guests should arrive by 10:30 a.m. and the service will begin at 11 a.m.
