Geraldine "Gerri" Prusha (nee Cendrowski), age 75. Beloved wife of Gerald "Jerry" for 52 years. Loving mother of Kimberly Eadeh (Charles) and Cheryl Ramunni (Jeffry). Devoted Grammy of Avery and Caden Ramunni. Dear sister of Dale Cendrowski (Toni) (both deceased) and Jeff Cendrowski (Karen). Dearest aunt of Heather Cendrowski, Greg Prusha (deceased), Katie Rankin, and Casey Prusha.
Geraldine was the kindest, purest, yet feistiest soul. She loved her simple life. She loved going to church on Saturdays sitting in the last row for 4pm mass. She loved breakfast with her husband at Kosta & Vic's on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She loved watching General Hospital every day at 3pm. She loved watching the Cavs and Guardians play. She loved browsing Discount Drugmart and Dollar General. She loved Coca Cola, Augies Pizza and Shake Shoppe ice cream. It didn't take much to put a smile on her beautiful face. She enjoyed plays, concerts, and whatever else her daughters had planned for her to do. Her life was simple, yet meaningful, and perfect for her.
Geraldine was a dedicated mother who always made sure her family was taken care of. From driving her daughters to school every day from kindergarten through high school, and even some college days, to attending every single softball game, to being a room mom and showing up at every school event and beyond. She was always there. She was that phone call every day on the drive home, or the first person to call when something was wrong, even in the middle of the night. She was that spontaneous ice cream, shopping, or dinner date. She was our world. She absolutely loved her grandchildren, and they absolutely loved her back. Avery would cheer in the car every time she knew she was going to Grammy's house, and although only 9 months old, Caden knew the comfort of sitting on Grammy's lap. She joined her grandchildren at farms, playgrounds, play dates, library time, swimming, and so much more. Her impact on these sweet babies lives, and ours, will never be forgotten.
Although cancer may have claimed her earthly body, it could never claim her beautiful soul that now lives eternally with her Savior, Jesus Christ. She ultimately won the battle because nothing on earth is more beautiful than the Kingdom of God. She will be missed by so many, and her memory will forever live on in our hearts and through the faces of her children and grandchildren.
Not a day goes by that we don't think about and miss you, Mom. Please watch over us and help guide us, and put in a good word for our Heavenly Father upstairs. We love you forever and always.
A private family service was held with interment at Resurrection Cemetery, and a public Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
