George T. Frey

George T. Frey, age77 of Brecksville, OH passed away Friday July 31, 2026.  Beloved husband for 54 years of Elaine (nee Nowak), loving father of Sara Thiel, Holly Gerbasich (Jeffrey), Heather Lawrence(Nathan), dearest grandfather of Eric, Samantha, Lily, Everleigh, and Wyatt.  George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Frances Frey and his sister, Gail.

George was a salesman most of his career.  The most popular item with family and friends was candy.

George enjoyed sharing meals with family and friends, nature walks to the local parks, walking around the neighborhood, watching Cleveland sports teams, hunting, fishing, and spending time in Pennsylvania.  His favorite way to pass time was to spend it with his grandchildren.  They always put a smile on his face.

Family and friends will be received at Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home, 8150 Brecksville Rd. Brecksville, OH 44141 on Saturday August 15, 2026 from 11 am to 1 pm.  A time of remembrance and prayer will begin at 1:00pm.
