Frank W. Wondrak

FRANK W. WONDRAK, age 83, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026. Cherished son of the late Wilbur and Vlasta "Flo" (nee Skaryd) Wondrak. Beloved brother of the late Beverly A. Wondrak. Loving cousin, colleague, and friend of far too many to try to mention. 

Frank served as a captain in the Ohio National Guard. He was proud to be an American. Frank was employed for over 40 years by Tremco, Inc. in their manufacturing facility serving as purchasing agent. Frank was involved in politics with the City of Seven Hills first as a councilman and then as the mayor of the city. Frank enjoyed boating, playing the accordion and eating Czech food. Frank loved music (especially polkas) and he and Beverly were season ticket holders for the Cleveland Orchestra. Frank was a kind and generous person who cared for his mother and sister in their last illness vowing to keep them in their homes as long as he possibly could.

Family and friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 4-8 p.m. Frank's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael Church, 6912 Chestnut Rd., Independence, OH 44131 on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 10 a.m. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Private Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
