EILEEN FRANCES PITEO CASSERLIE, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Devoted daughter of the late John and Aldiene Piteo. Beloved wife of Michael for 41 years. Loving mother of Madeline Rose and Nicholas John. Dear sister of Theresa Trela (Rick), Sarah Slatter (Steve), John Piteo (Gail), Cindy Corbin (Charlie), Mark Piteo (Donna), Jim Piteo (Jaylene), Lisa Gresko (Rob), and Laurie Carr (Chris). Cherished sister-in-law of Donald (Pam), Cindy, Nadine (Kevin), and Roy (Helene). Adoring Aunt to Liza, Tori, Matthew, Kris, Melanie, Tony, Brian, Cassandra, Candice, Cecily, Vincent, Kay, Andrew, Emily, Daniel, Michael, Sophie, Sarah, Lori, Nikki, Will, and Adam. 

Family and friends will be received at Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home, 8150 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

Eileen's funeral service will be held at the Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. and will then proceed to All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org
