Della Louise Pettit

Della Louise Pettit, age 86, passed away Monday, February 3, 2020. Beloved wife of Brad for 68 years. Loving mother of Steve Pettit (Tracy) of Knoxville, TN and Vicki Karam (Jim) of Richfield, OH. Cherished grandmother of Taylor Jameson of Flint, MI, Allyse Karam of Westlake, OH, and Katelyn, Michael and Matthew Pettit all of Knoxville, TN. Devoted great grandmother of Maelyn Jameson. Dear sister of Larry Radcliff and the late Billy James Radcliff and Betty Cole.

Louise was a devoted homemaker and woman of faith. She was a gentle sole that found the beauty in everyone she met, and she would tell them about it. She retired from Sears-Roebuck after 15 years. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Canton, OH for 31 years. There she sang in the choir for 25 years, taught Sunday School for 5 years, was in charge of the church rummage sale for 12 years and served two terms as Women's Society President. Louise also belonged to the New Covenant United Methodist Church in The Villages, FL for 12 years and worked in the office and the food pantry for 6 years.

Louise's Memorial Service will be held at Bath United Church of Christ, 3980 West Bath Road, Akron, OH 44333 on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
