David J. Deuch

DAVID J. DEUCH, age 79, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 19, 2021.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Joan (Kolar) Deuch, his loving son Jeffrey (Kathleen) Deuch, his loving daughter Dariene (Jim) Wasser and his five beloved grandchildren Hunter (Mackenzie) Wasser, Tyler Wasser, Nicholas Deuch, Brandon Deuch and Halle Wasser.  He was born in Cleveland Ohio in 1941, and was a graduate of Rutgers University (Masters Degree) and Kent State University (Bachelors Degree). He spent his entire career at KeyCorp and its predecessor companies (Society Bank, AmeriTrust, and Cleveland Trust) before retiring as an Executive Vice President of Commercial Lending in 1996.  He lived in Brecksville Ohio from 1973-2011 where he was elected and served on Brecksville City Council  for twelve years. He and Joan moved to Naples Florida in 2011, while still maintaining a second home in Brecksville.  He and Joan were avid travelers, visiting 93 countries during his lifetime.  He will be remembered forever by his family, friends and colleagues as a loving husband, proud father, dedicated grandfather and a caring, loyal and trustworthy friend to many.  Arrangements entrusted to Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home.
