Cheryl Ann Kufta

CHERYL ANN KUFTA, age 74. Beloved daughter of the late Frank and Madeline Kufta. Loving sister of Linda Kufta Norman (Dennis, deceased). Devoted aunt of Patrick, Nicholas, and Lindsey Norman.

Cheryl was born in Uniontown, PA. Before long, she moved with her family to Ohio-the first of her many adventures. She grew up in Brecksville, living on Lawn Park Drive then later Winding Way in the happy homes her father built.

After her time at Ohio State, Cheryl went West to San Francisco where her way with words sparked a trailblazing career as one of the first women account executives at the advertising firm Darcy McManus. Never one to rest, she soon moved to Texas; first to Dallas, then Houston as it was transforming into the Silicon Prairie. It was there at 36 that she founded Kufta & Associates, a marketing research firm she would go on to sell in order to travel the world.

Her insatiable wanderlust would take her to all corners of the globe, yet the only thing that brought her more joy than seeing the world was seeing it with those she loved. Her parents and sister were her constant companions, and together their travels made the memories that grace countless wonderful photos and became the subject of so many stories around the family table.

Cheryl was a bright, bold, and vivacious spirit-a presence who lived life to the absolute fullest. She was loved as deeply as she loved, and is dearly missed.

Family and friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Cheryl's funeral service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Brecksville Cemetery.
