Carole J. Harwood

CAROLE JEAN HARWOOD, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2024 at age 84. She was born September 26, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Howard and Eleanor Williams (Tucholsky) and was a 1957 graduate of Parma High School.  Beloved wife of the late Thomas Harwood. Loving mother of Patricia, Timothy (Erin), and the late Michael (Debbie, surviving). Dear grandmother "grammy" of Justin, Emily, Daniel, Matthew and Alexander. Great-grandmother "gg" of Adyson. Sister of Joyce Cole (Bill) and Glenn Williams (Kim) and Aunt and friend to many more. She worked as Brecksville's Assistant Clerk of Courts for 25 years and her affection for Brecksville was only shadowed by her love for her family and friends. She will be remembered for the kindness, devotion, and unconditional love she shared with friends and family.  

Friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 10 am - 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you consider memorial donations to The Mike Harwood Memorial Scholarship Fund with checks being made to Cuyahoga Valley Youth Organization, 10084 Deer Run, Brecksville, OH 44141 -or- to S.T.A.R. (Students Together for Acceptance and Respect) Summer Camp with checks being made out to S.T.A.R. Camp, P.O. Box 40166, Brecksville, OH 44141.

Family and friends are invited to a gathering following calling hours at the BRECKSVILLE HUMAN SERVICES CENTER at 2 COMMUNITY DR., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 beginning at 3 pm for a Celebration of Carole's life.
