Carol L. (Lindow) Toensing

Carol Toensing, of Brecksville, OH, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Wednesday, October 16, 2024 after a brief illness. Beloved mother of Carolyn Jatsek (John) and Allison Toensing; loving grandmother of Lily and Evan Jatsek.  The devoted daughter of Frank and Helen Lindow; sister of Donald Lindow and William Lindow; dear aunt to her nieces and nephew.

Carol enjoyed traveling with her daughters and grandchildren both throughout the country and abroad.   She spent many days each year enjoying Chautauqua Lake and watching the colorful sunsets on the water throughout her life.  

Carol spent many days being involved as a leader in many of her daughters' activities such as Girl Scouts, Science Olympiad and Band Boosters.  She continued to enjoy watching her grandchildren in their many sports, dance and activities, and she passed on her love for travel, nature and the arts.

Carol's family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff who took care of her while she was on the 8th floor of UH Parma Medical Center.

Her family is honoring Carol's wishes with a private service. Interment at Brecksville Cemetery.
