Carol J. (Kline) Host

Carol J. Host (nee Kline) age 85 of Brecksville passed away Monday, September 11, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas E.; loving mother of Bryan Host and Nancy Ward; dearest grandmother of Viola and Benjamin Ward; dear sister of the late Charles Kline.

Carol was best known in Brecksville for her 30 years of service with the Brecksville Historical Association (BHA) where she was a Trustee from 1996-2003. She was a docent at the Squire Rich House Museum and assisted in giving educational presentations to students and other groups.  Carol enjoyed helping residents research their family's background and trace property histories, and the extensive research she did over the years will be invaluable for future use.

Carol's personal passion was doing genealogical research of her own family and helping others to research theirs.  She was a member of the Cuyahoga Valley Genealogy Society (CVGS), where she served as president from 1982 to 1984.
 
A Celebration of Life for Carol Host will be held on October 28 at the Brecksville Community Center, 1 Community Dr., Brecksville, OH 44141 at 1:00PM.

Private burial at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
