CANDICE CAROUSE BOOHER, age 46 passed away Sunday, July 12, 2026. Cherished wife of Joshua Booher for 24 years. Loving mother of Matthew, Aiden, and Cameron. Beloved daughter of Pam and Lou Carouse Jr. Dear sister of Christine Rice (Jason). Aunt of Beau and Silas Rice. Daughter-in-law of James and Sandra "Sissy" Booher. Sister-in-law of Jamie Booher.
Candice is also so survived by many members of the Travaglianti, Weiss, and Hutchison families. And her beloved dachshunds, Isabelle and Hazel.
Candice was a graduate of Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School, Mount Union College, and Kent State University. She was a member of both her high school and Mount Union swim teams. Candice was a Garfield Heights Schools elementary school teacher for 25 years. She was an enthusiastic soccer mom to Aiden and Cameron, and a devoted advocate for her autistic son Matthew. Her family vacationed every June, with her favorite places being by the ocean and national parks.
Family and friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Sunday, July 19, 2026 from 2-8 p.m. Candice's funeral service will be held at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 9201 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11 a.m. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Brecksville Cemetery.
