BETTY LU LENNY, age 96. Beloved wife of the late Donald S. Lenny. Dear mother of Susan Rohe (Steve), Sarah Mansbery (Dave) and Donald B. Lenny II (Sue). Loving grandmother of Lindsay Tate (Drew), Trevor Rohe (Danielle), Kate Hasenohrl, Laura Butler (Erik), Melissa Petrevski (Jimmy), Sarah Lenny, and Christina Lenny. Devoted great grandmother of Nicholas, Addyson, Leila, Ryker, Macklan, Aubrianna, Brody, R.J., Brandon, Tori, Jace, Matthew, and Andrea. Preceded in death by her parents, Viola and Harry John Schiermeyer. Dearest sister of the late Harry J. Schiermeyer (Jean). Cherished Aunt of many.
Betty was a graduate of the University of Illinois and worked as a Spanish teacher for the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling the world. Betty was a longtime member of the Brecksville Women's Club, and she was an active member of Independence Presbyterian Church. Her greatest joy was her family.
Betty's Memorial service will be held at Independence Presbyterian Church, 6624 W. Public Square, Independence, OH 44131 on Saturday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. where Family and Friends will be received from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
