ALVARO ALVAREZ, age 87 of Bedford Hts, Ohio. Beloved husband of the late Cecelia Alvarez for 55 years; loving father of Roger Alvarez (Kathleen), Linda Reker (Jim) and step-father of William Zelin (Patricia). Dearest grandfather of Joshua Alvarez (Katlyn), Daniella Alvarez, Matthew Alvarez, Christy Garver (Aaron), Ashley Neel (Coley), and step-grandfather of Nicole Ann Zelin (Barry Wagoner), William Walter Zelin and Tricia Renee Rydson (Matthew). Great grandfather of Zack Alvarez, Adelena Alvarez, Matti Alvarez, Anastasia Alvarez, Luke Alvarez, Colson Garver, Flynt Garver, Hewitt Garver, Quinn Cecelia Neel, Lucy Neel, and step-great grandfather of Benjamin Merritt Wagoner, Lily Ann Wagoner, Tyler William Rydson and Georgia Kate Rydson. Brother of Josephine Crowder, Robert Alvarez, Anthony Alvarez, Charles Alvarez and Steven Smith.

Al faithfully served in the Air Force repairing radar systems and was a tremendous horse trainer.

Family and friends will be received at Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home, 8150 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, Ohio 44141 on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 10-11 a.m. followed by Al's Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield, Ohio.
