LOUIS A. SOKELL, age 96 of Brecksville. Passed away Friday, April 3, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Edith E. Sokell; loving father of Douglas Sokell and Linda Johnson; dear brother of Cecelia Zaremba and the late Marion, Chester, Gloria Eddy, Dorothy Mondell and Ruth Zimpfer; loving uncle of many. Army veteran of WW II. Family will receive friends at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., Wednesday, April 8 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. A Committal Service will be held at Brecksville Cemetery, Highland Dr. at Route 82 on Wednesday, April 15 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at Lutheran Church of the Covenant, 19000 Libby Rd., Maple Heights at 11 a.m. where a reception will follow. Family suggests donations to the Lutheran Church of the Covenant or Friends of the Brecksville Library.
